The Truths Behind Plastic Injection Molding Process

Plastic injection molding involves giving shape to molten plastic into different shapes that are required for our day-to-day life. Plastic injection molding starts with the first injection of plastics and polymers. The resin is heated to the melting temperature and the liquid is poured into the shape of the desired shape. The forms consist of two components, injection molding and mold removal. The molten plastic resin is poured into the mold with injection molding base. The removal of the mold used to push the plastic after it solidifies in the mold without damaging the screw around.


The next step in plastic injection molding is to use a mechanical or hydraulic pressure. This is to allow air to escape into the mold. This is called building process.
